Closing Periods

In Dynamics GP, periods are closed by module for each period.   Users can choose to close different modules by using the Fiscal Period Setup window.

In Business Central, posting is closed for an entire period across all modules in the General Ledger Setup page.  But, unlike GP, different users can continue to post in closed periods if they are granted permission.  This is done in the User Setup page.
